Internship:

Jumpstart your career by engaging with industry experts on innovative projects. You will have the experience of a full-time analyst role and gain valuable insights into the world of professional services. Mercer offers internships in Employee Health & Benefits, Government Human Services Consulting, Retirement Consulting, Investment Consulting, and Workforce and Career Consulting. All majors are welcome to apply.

 

 

Actuarial Analyst:

If you are pursuing an actuarial degree and/or certification, begin your career working with the leading Human Capital Consulting Firm as an entry-level actuarial analyst. Early in their careers, actuarial analysts will have a high level of responsibility with exposure to clients. You will work closely with senior consultants to design, finance, price, and administer client companies’ health and welfare programs.

 

Mercer supports its actuaries through our Actuarial Study Program. We provide support through paid study and exam time, monetary reimbursement for materials and tests, and internal guidance and study resources. Candidates who have accepted a full-time offer may be reimbursed for study materials and exam fees after their official start date at Mercer with valid receipts.

 

Consulting Analyst:

As a consulting analyst, you will help collect, analyze and interpret data for client reports. You’ll also write and structure client communications, including proposals, reports, spreadsheets and presentations. With a solid practical and analytical foundation of the industry, you will strengthen your future career path.

 

Employee Health & Benefits analysts work with employer health plans.  Government Human Services consulting analysts work with state governments on public health care benefits . Career analysts have a dual understanding of finance and human behavior. Investment analysts work on accounting and math-based projects.

 

 

Associate:

As an associate, you will interpret and draw meaningful conclusions from research and analysis on industry and organization-specific issues. You will evaluate clients’ strategic business objectives and their implications for rewards, leadership, organization performance and other HR policies.

 

Associates are students graduating from an MBA or master’s program in the current academic year. Candidates should have three to five years of relevant business experience. Currently, we offer Summer Associate and full-time Associate positions with our Career business.
